1.
George was lounging in his bubble. It swirled ethereal and green without motion, and protected him from everything. Viruses, electromagnetics, diseases, people. He was non-existent for all. Perhaps he simply did not exist at all. He felt desolate at once.
George thought about his parent organics, Piang and Dyanstreikl. He was their one millionth offspring. George felt special, intangible, infinitely mobile, infinitely still. He had a greatness about him. He was special.
It was George’s birth nanosecond soon. He would be one. Many lives before, he had determined that he would forever be one. He had had many birth nanoseconds.
2.
George thought about his bubble once more. Naturally, he was unable to see it, but he knew it was there. He could sense its presence all about him.
George breathed in deeply. The aromatics were delectable! Attributes of his hypothetical non-existence which countered the very notion. He reminded himself that the tiny droplets of koosch which assailed his sensories were imaginary, hallucinations nurtured by the bubble to enhance his bodily awareness. He felt joy.
George was pondering existence and non-existence, tangibility and intangibility. Did any of it matter, really? George’s mind did not dwell on inessentials.
George was in love.
The end.
